This is one solid piece of outdoor gear I own, and I swear by it. While there are an array of other similar cooler on the market, Yeti has provided one which takes the best features of all of them and combines them.
I find the build quality on this model extremely good and innovative. All hard plastic from top to bottom, there is no metal parts to rust or weak points. The heights are as perfectly tall for cooling wine bottles, and other long-bottled beverages. A wide flat top allows for placing stuffs, and the clips are quick to snap back whenever you get access to the cooler.
The straps are very sturdy and lightly padded to ensure you have a secure grasp. Height-wise, the 36″ handle length is a good size for the average adult, but people who are extremely tall might prefer a couple extra inches.
Really, the ease with which with this cooler carries stuffs, makes it worthwhile. Even when I find myself on a quick trip to the beach with friends, this cooler makes it efficient to do so. It is the best portable hard cooler I own, and should be in your lunch cooler collection as well.

What I love about this, is that it’s designed to be a versatile lunch cooler and a great work gear. The hard sided insulated liner, provides the perfect temperature that will preserve your lunch package. They are nicely built to be used any where, and in any condition. Its U-shaped handle is short enough, and it is soft on the hands while carrying it.
Although, longer handles like shoulder straps, are good at times, but at other times it can be a drawback. Most people usually don’t prefer a cooler handle of that length. And this is a very good alternative if you are one of such people.
As the best hard box cooler with handle, this takes top marks, and I would recommend it every single time. But this doesn’t beat out Klein Tool for the position of best construction cooler overall. Still, it is a solid and well-crafted lunch box cooler that would be a great addition to any working adult man. I know I’d like to get one for my fiancée!
